Robolution & RAAICON 2025 Conclude with a Grand Celebration of Future Technologies
Dhaka, 28 November 2025 — Robolution 2025 and the 4th IEEE International Conference on Robotics, Automation, Artificial Intelligence & Internet-of-Things (RAAICON 2025) concluded today at MIST, wrapping up two days filled with energy, innovation, and inspiring ideas. The closing ceremony was graced by the Engineer-in-Chief (E-in-C) Major General Md Hasan Uz Zaman, ndu, afwc, psc, MPhil, who attended as the Chief Guest and praised the event for bringing together the brightest young minds of the nation.
This year’s Robolution, the largest and most vibrant edition yet; welcomed over 1,500 students from more than 150 schools, colleges, and universities. The competitions spanned four major technology areas: Robotics and Autonomous Systems, Drone and Aerial Technologies, Microelectronics and VLSI Design, and Esports, Programming, and Embedded Systems. In parallel, RAAICON 2025 featured a series of impactful research presentations and technical sessions, creating a rich environment for academic exchange and future-focused discussions.
Participants showcased their talents across 11 competition segments. Exceptional teams emerged victorious in the Line Following Race, Soccer Bot, Cosmo Clench, Drone Racing, and the high-adrenaline Battle of Bots. Innovation-driven events such as the VLSI Design Competition, Arduino Code Challenge, Poster Competition, and Project Showcasing highlighted strong technical creativity and problem-solving skills across both senior and junior categories. The first-ever VALORANT Esports Tournament at MIST also crowned its champions, while the Robo Olympiad brought forward enthusiastic young robotics learners.
In his remarks, the Chief Guest reflected warmly on MIST’s growth and emphasized that innovation is not a moment but a journey, one driven by curiosity, discipline, and a willingness to take on new challenges. He encouraged students to continue exploring boldly and reaffirmed his confidence that the future of Bangladesh’s technological landscape lies in capable hands.
He extended heartfelt appreciation to the organizing teams, faculty members, volunteers, and sponsors; BMTF, BEXIMCO Pharmaceuticals, Global Brand, Neural Semiconductor, Banglay Robotics, and Startech, for their dedication and seamless coordination in delivering such a large-scale, impactful event.
The ceremony ended on a hopeful and inspiring note, with MIST reaffirming its commitment to fostering innovation, strengthening research, and supporting national development through cutting-edge technological advancement. Robolution & RAAICON 2025 once again showcased the passion and potential of Bangladesh’s youth, lighting the way for the breakthroughs and innovations of tomorrow.
