National Biomedical Engineering Fest “CELESTRA’26” Successfully Held at MIST

The MIST Einthoven Club of the Department of Biomedical Engineering successfully organized CELESTRA’26, the National Biomedical Engineering Fest, at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) on 8 March 2026. The event welcomed over 200 participants from universities across the country, bringing together aspiring innovators, researchers, and students for a day filled with learning, creativity, and collaboration.

The festival featured four dynamic segments, where participants presented innovative research, creative biomedical projects, and forward-thinking ideas. Each segment was marked by enthusiastic participation, engaging discussions, and insightful presentations, highlighting the remarkable potential of young minds in advancing the fields of healthcare and biomedical engineering.

The programme concluded with a closing ceremony and prize-giving session, where outstanding participants were recognized for their achievements and contributions. Major General Md Nasim Parvez, BSP, ndc, afwc, psc, Commandant of MIST, attended the programme as the Chief Guest and distributed prizes among the winners.

CELESTRA’26 not only celebrated innovation and academic excellence but also marked the beginning of many more initiatives aimed at fostering research, creativity, and collaboration in the field of biomedical engineering.
