MIST Delegation Led by Commandant Visits Daffodil International University
A 12-member delegation from the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), led by the Respected Commandant, Maj Gen Md. Nasim Parvez, paid an official visit to Daffodil International University (DIU) today, 9 February 2026.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Masum Iqbal, followed by an engaging briefing session held in the august presence of Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. M. R. Kabir, Vice-Chancellor, DIU.
During the session, Mr. Syed Raihan-Ul-Islam, along with representatives from IQAC, DIU Ranking Cell, and Dr. Mahfuza Parveen, Director, Division of Research, presented DIU’s best practices and strategic initiatives focusing on quality assurance, research excellence, internationalisation, and global ranking.
The visit concluded with a cordial luncheon followed by a guided facilities tour of DIU’s sustainable campus, marking a significant step towards fostering inter-institutional collaboration and strengthening Bangladesh’s quality higher education ecosystem through partnership and shared vision.
