Research Interests

My research interests lie in disaster resilience, supply chain, optimization, and data-driven decision-making for critical infrastructure systems. I focus on integrating operations research, machine learning, and reverse logistics to enhance system robustness under disruptions. I am particularly interested in developing predictive and optimization models that support sustainable and resilient recovery strategies in disaster-prone regions.

Education

Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Mirpur Cantonment, Dhaka-1216, Bangladesh.                                                                                               2020 – 2024 (March) Bachelor of Science, Industrial and Production Engineering.

Undergraduate Thesis

Reverse Logistics Network Design for Semiconductor Supply Chain: An Optimization Approach

  • Developed a mathematical optimization model to redesign the semiconductor supply chain using reverse logistics, addressing chip shortages heightened by the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Built and solved forward and reverse logistics network models using IBM CPLEX, minimizing total supply chain costs while fulfilling unmet demand.
  • Proposed a remanufacturing and inventory framework to recover, test, and redistribute functional semiconductor chips, improving resilience and sustainability.
  • Conducted sensitivity analysis on demand fluctuations and return rates, demonstrating significant cost savings and enhanced supply chain robustness.
