CAREER HIGHLIGHTS_________________________________________________________

  • 2023: Received MIST Research and Development incentive award for credible Scopus-indexed research publications in 2022.
  • 2022: Nominated as the technical member for the “National evaluation committee for the safe launch of Dhumketu-2 sounding rocket developed in Bangladesh”.
  • 2022: Acted as a core organizing member of the International Conference of Mechanical Engineering and Applied Sciences at MIST. This was a major international event that acted as a gathering of established academicians, researchers and industry leaders.
  • 2022: Presented original research work titled “Effect of laser cutting on mechanical performance of woven glass fiber reinforced plastic composite” at GCRASM 2022 – India.
  • 2021: Delivered lecture as an Invited Speaker to GNA University – India on “Human Factors in Aviation and Engineering”.
  • 2020: Established Production Planning function of NOVOAIR Engineering as per CAAB ANO Part 145 regulations as the Project Lead.
  • 2019: Established Aerospace Non-Destructive Testing Facility (NDT) level 2 of NOVOAIR Engineering as the Project Lead. Worked closely with Foreign NDT Level-3 consultant and obtained CAAB Part 145 D1 rating. This was the first approval of its kind in Bangladesh’s private aviation sector.
  • 2017 – 2018: Successfully completed the technical assessment, purchase and induction of ATR 72-500 fleet for NOVOAIR. Actively worked with Mount Cook Airlines (Christchurch) and Air New Zealand (Auckland) regarding the technical, commercial and documentation aspects of the complete project.
  • 2016 - 2017: Acted as a core team member tasked with the sales and delivery of 03 EMB 145 aircraft to National Airways – Ethiopia. These aircraft were phased out from NOVOAIR fleet after 4 years of operation. 
  • 2016 – 2020: Worked with Buddha Air, Vietnam Airlines and GMF Indonesia regarding ATR 72-500 C Checks, 36000FC Checks, Aircraft Painting and similar Heavy Maintenance Projects.
  • 2016: Implemented an Airworthiness Management ERP system for NOVOAIR CAMO. Achieved optimization of work processes and reduced Airworthiness Data Management and Record errors significantly.
  • 2016: Worked as a team member to obtain CAAB Part M CAMO approval in favor of NOVOAIR. This was the first Part M approval in Bangladesh Aviation.
